We’re recruiting for a Fundraising Manager

Location: Chester HQ based/ Hybrid Working as agreed. Travel required as appropriate to maximise fundraising opportunities and manage Regional Fundraiser.      

Type: Full-Time 35hrs       Salary: £ 32,500-£36,500

Your Role: Lead our fundraising efforts, focusing on individual giving, trusts and foundations, and legacies. Manage and mentor our Regional Fundraiser while shaping and growing our fundraising function over time.  

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Proven success in fundraising, with a focus on individual giving, trusts and foundations, and legacies. 
  • Experience in working with a donor database to profile, analyse and manage donor records to optimise fundraising initiatives. (Children Today uses Donorfy) 
  • Strong strategic planning skills to develop and implement fundraising strategies. 
  • Proficiency in budget management and financial reporting.  
  • Excellent communication skills for effective donor engagement and stakeholder management. 
  • Experience in leading and managing fundraising staff. 
  • Strong project management/organisational skills to manage multiple activities. 
  • A genuine passion for our mission and values.  
  • Willingness to travel to maximise fundraising opportunities and work collegiately at the charity’s Chester HQ where appropriate. 
  • Versatility, initiative, and a collaborative spirit.
