Kare’s Diamond League Success!

Written by Emma on 25th July 2014

13 year-old Kare Adenegan has just represented Great Britain in the T34 100m at the Glasgow Diamond League meeting.

Kare was third, beaten only by Amy Siemons of the Netherlands and double Paralympic champion, compatriot Hannah Cockroft.

Kare has Cerebral Palsy but she has not let this hold her back. After watching the London Paralympic Games she realised that with the right equipment and her strong self-belief she could achieve just as much and more.

Too young for commercial sponsorship, Kare is reliant on voluntary support to get her the specialised equipment that will enable her to achieve her dreams – the rest she can clearly do all by herself!

We will be fundraising at Breakthrough 2014on October 25th in Cheltenham and Kare will be there to tell us how much she has achieved.
