Go Liam, Go!!

14 year-old Liam has a severe learning disability and didn’t like to play outside. His senior physiotherapist supported Liam’s own request for a go-kart. She thought it would be extremely beneficial in increasing Liam’s social interaction with friends and family and encourage him to spend more time playing outside in the fresh air. In addition, it would also help improve his low muscle tone, balance and co-ordination.

Liam received his new go-kart earlier this year and his mum told us that Liam is outside playing on his new go-kart all the time. In Liam’s own words he wrote a thank you note saying “Thank you very much for my new go-kart. It is lot of fun.”
