New Play Equipment for Jessica and Alice

Jessica and Alice are delightful six year old twins who both have IP36 deletion syndrome which has caused a variety of complications such as feeding difficulties and heart problems. Both girls have no verbal communication and communicate using signing. Jessica and Alice’s family, supported by their physiotherapist, applied to Children Today for a wheelchair accessible water and sand table. Both girls love sand and water play so this would be used as a fun way to improve communication, turn taking skills, fine and gross motor skills as well as their play skills, and as Jessica is a wheelchair user it is fully accessible for her to play with her twin sister.
