Westhoughton Communiversity Sings for Children Today

Liz Oakes of Children Today attended a concert put on by the students of Westhoughton Communiversity; these are adults who themselves are living with disability.

There was dancing, singing, a band and students reading their poems. All the students had lovely costumes and props which had been made appropriate to the music. There was an excellent version of the Lion King where all the students wore superb lion face masks.

It was attended by parents and friends of the students and a raffle was held during refreshments.
This was to raise funds for Children Today.

Liz Oakes commented “The whole show was amazing and a credit to all the hard work of Pauline Miller and the students who wanted to help fundraise for a local child living with disability. Pauline told me that the students wanted on this occasion to be able to help and not be helped”
