Legacy Giving

As a charity we receive no government funding and rely entirely on donations. Leaving a legacy gift in your Will to Children Today will ensure that we can continue to provide life changing equipment to disabled children and young people. Informing us of your legacy allows us to plan our future work and help as many disabled children lead a more active and independent life.

There are 3 ways of leaving a legacy in your Will:

1. Residuary Gift – A residuary gift is made from the remainder of the estate after all other Beneficiaries have received their inheritance and all debts have been paid. Leaving this type of gift ensures that your family and loved ones are remembered first and what ever else is left over is donated to charity.

2. Pecuniary Gift – A pecuniary gift is a gift of a specific sum of money that you wish to guarantee to the charity.

3. Specific Gift – This is a specific item such as property, jewellery or other items.
