PFA Presentation 26th October 2015

On Monday 26th October 2015 Children Today were invited to the Professional Footballers Association Headquarters in Manchester to collect a cheque for £10,000. This fantastic donation was to support our recent challenge adventure when ex-professional footballers led teams on a fundraising trip to Cuba. We were all delighted that Angel, from Bolton, and her grandmother accepted our offer to represent us at the presentation.

The cheque was presented by the Chief Executive of the PFA, Gordon Taylor OBE, along with our winning team captain from the Cuba Challenge Bob Bolder, former captain Peter Nicholson and participant from the winning team Sharon Bailey.

Children Today would like to thank the PFA who have supported us since 2006. During that time a series of these challenges have been organised which have raised thousands of pounds, helping to provide vital specialised equipment for children and young people with disabilities living throughout the UK.
