Sunday 14th October was a beautifully sunny day, perfect weather to hold a golf day at Turton Golf Club in Bolton. Two of our PFA Children Today Challenge Cup adventurers Graham Hill of Lovatts Roofing and Paul Greenhalgh of Diddybox, did just that to raise funds for this unique event taking place in the Grand Canyon from the 8th – 16th June 2013.

The charity event was supported by many keen golfers and local Bolton Wanders Football Club legends Mark Patterson, Wyn Davies, Freddie Hill, Roy Greaves and Peter Nicholson.

Also on the day six year old Reece, from Bolton with mum and dad came along. Earlier in the year Children Today provided Reece, who has epilepsy and severe learning difficulties, with a specialised buggy.

This fabulous day raised in excess of £4,500! The boys who have agreed to raise £6,400 and are well on the way to their target!
