The vivacious Chester-based choir, A Handbag of Harmonies, will be singing for charity at Children Today’s festive fundraising event on the 14 December 2018.

Led by the charismatic Matt Baker, the women, will entertain guests with a selection of Christmas carols and songs, in aid of  Children Today.

Attendees will enjoy a glass of Prosecco on arrival, with mince pies and bubbly during the interval.

Moira Reid, Chair at Handbag of Harmonies, comments: “A Handbag of Harmonies is delighted to be supporting Children Today in their mission to improve the lives of children and young people who face challenges in life which most of us can only imagine.”

The event, which is kindly sponsored by Quilter Private Client Advisors, also offers guests an opportunity to see Chester Cathedral’s dazzling Christmas Tree Festival.

Samantha Lee, Corporate & Events Fundraiser at Children Today, comments: “Our Christmas at the Cathedral event is set to be a wonderfully festive and fun evening, with the added bonus of raising vital funds to help change the lives of children with disabilities across the UK.

“By joining us at this event you are not only guaranteed a great time, but can make a real difference to the lives of these children, who so desperately need specially adapted equipment to help them have the best possible quality of life.

“There are a limited number of tickets available, so we’d urge anyone interested in attending to buy their tickets now to make sure they don’t miss out on this special event.”

The event starts at 6.30pm until 9pm and is suitable for all ages. Tickets cost £20 per person, with all proceeds going to Children Today Charitable Trust.
