As the pandemic sadly meant our Transylvania Trek was cancelled earlier this year, our amazing Lake District Challenge 2021 will now be held on 16th-21st September 2021.
GOOD LUCK to all our fantastic participants who will be taking on this spectacular challenge through the Lake District. Description: A 6-day charity trek through the stunning Lake District ending with a challenging climb of England’s highest mountain, Scafell Pike guided by mountaineer Simon Yates of ‘Touching the Void’ fame – to raise funds for Children Today.

Day 1 Thursday, 16 September, Arrive Keswick, in the English Lake District
Day 2 Friday, 17 September, Walk around Derwentwater 17.3 km / 10.7 miles, 4-5

Day 3 Saturday, 18 September, The Newlands Horseshoe 18 km / 11.1 miles 6-7 hours
Day 4 Sunday, 19 September, Castlerigg Stone Circle and St. John’s in the Vale, 21.6km
/13.4 miles, 5-6 hours
Day 5 Monday, 20 September, Ascent of Scafell Pike with Simon Yates, 16km / 10 miles
6-7 hours
Day 6 Tuesday, 21 September, Arrangements end after breakfast
