Take on the 2.6 challenge

26th April 2020

Like all charities, our fundraising income has been hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic with many fundraising events being postponed or cancelled. However you, your family and friends can help by taking part in The 2.6 Challenge from Sunday 26 April from the comfort of your own home!

This event has been designed by the organisers of the biggest mass-participation sports events to help to save the UK’s charities.

The 2.6 Challenge will launch on Sunday 26 April (what should have been the date of the 40th London Marathon), the world’s biggest one-day annual fundraising event – where everyone can fundraise for the charity of their choice.

We’re asking you to take part in an activity of your choice based around the numbers 2.6 or 26 (whether running, cycling, a home disco or even a sponsored silence for 2.6 hours!) and fundraise or donate to support Children Today.

All ages and abilities can take part as you choose your own activity to do alone or with your family! If you need a little helping hand to thinking of some creative ideas just click here.

Visit the JustGiving page to donate or start your fundraising.

Drop us an email on events@childrentoday.org.uk if you need any support or send us pictures of your amazing efforts on social media.

Good luck and thank you for your support.

NB Please follow Government guidelines on exercise and social distancing. Most people are taking part from Sunday 26 April but you can do your activity whenever is most convenient for you.
