Anya’s Paralympic Potential!
Written by Emma on 25th July 2014
We would like to introduce you to Anya and congratulate her on achieving the first step towards a very exciting future. When Anya was 3 years old Children Today provided a specialised trike, her first set of wheels! A few years later we were able to help with a motorised scooter to step up the pace but now she is providing the driving force all by herself.
We were thrilled to hear from her family that Anya, now 7 years old, has been spotted by a Paralympic GB coach for wheelchair racing and recently started her training in earnest. Her father Chris said “Children Today has helped Anya and given her a chance to stay mobile and positive”.
We are very pleased to have helped but this is all about her hard work and determination and we look forward to hearing more about her progress. if you would like to follow Anya’s story please visit her facebook update page
Our thanks to all our supporters for enabling us to help children like Anya along the way to achieving their full potential and our very best wishes to Anya for continued success.
