Description: Children Today has a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and talented Regional Fundraiser for the North West of England.

Children Today provides children living with disabilities and their families with adapted equipment that can be life-changing and help them to achieve their potential. In addition our family services guide families through what can be challenging pathways to funding.
You will be passionate about making the world a kinder place and your role will help our charity give children with disabilities the opportunity of wellbeing with full participation in their community through education, work, sport and leisure with the provision of specially adapted equipment.
Working hours: Full-time (35 hours a week) but there is a possibility to discuss part-time hours for the right candidate.
The role: Your key responsibilities will be income generation and fundraising for Children Today, through community fundraising, corporate and regional grants and foundations, support legacies and individual giving campaigns.
Your role will include oversight of our outsourced telephone donor stewardship programme as well as drafting corporate funding applications where appropriate.
You’ll have a close working relationship with our small dedicated team and in particular our Communications Manager to deliver successful fundraising campaigns together effectively will be essential.
Reporting to our Charity Director you will be expected to be challenging in setting financial forecasts produce regular reports on fundraising income in order to review and monitor. In this varied role you will have an opportunity to be part of a positive team seeking to build on historical success whilst valuing our culture of kindness and support.
What we’re looking for: You will be a positive influencer and an engaging communicator with the skills required to build on our existing streams of income. You should be a good organiser, creative and innovative. You should be a strong administrator and have digital competency including being able to work with a donor database (Children Today uses Donorfy) to maintain and manage fundraising and donor records.
Flexibility will be required as will the need to travel to fulfil the duties of the role to build relationships with new and existing donors across the region. Whilst the role is field-based, it will also include some working at the head office in Chester.
Demonstrable success and knowledge of fundraising are essential for this role.
