Rain doesn’t stop play at our circus-themed family fun day!

Did you join us at our circus-themed family funday in Ellesmere Port on the 9th September?!

The event, held at Whitby Park, saw families brave the bad weather conditions in the morning to enjoy a variety of circus-themed activities including fun comedy circus shows hosted in a Big Top. Kids were also able to try out juggling, plate spinning and lots more at circus skills training workshops throughout the day.

As the day started to brighten up there were displays from Ellesmere Port street dance team Dynamite Dance studios and a spectacular performance from fire-eater and studio owner John Pemberton!

Regional fundraising manager Paula Hanford comments: “This was a very special event to help us raise much-needed funds so that we can support even more children and young people. We were worried that the bad weather would stop people from coming out so want to thank everyone that braved the rain to support us as well as our fantastic sponsors Aviva and Essar that helped this event raise £7000.”

Here are some pictures from the event:

Our next Cheshire event is a Meet the Superheroes Family funday at Cheshire Ice Cream farm in Tattenhall on the 30th September from 11am to 4pm where children can meet some of their favourite characters including Wonder Woman, Spiderman, Supergirl and Batman at the popular family venue. We hope to see you there!
