Ride into Paris like Chris Froome…
Written by Emma on 25th July 2014
So far 2013 has been another fantastic year for British sport; the Lions success in Australia, Andy Murray’s historic Wimbledon title and now the great start to the Ashes. However, for cycling fans , Chris Froome’s victory in the Tour de France after Bradley Wiggins’ triumph last year, is the ultimate success.
For those who are inspired, Children Today have an incredible opportunity to take on an iconic charity challenge with a special added bonus. Join us from 23rd to 27th July 2014 and you could be cycling the 300 miles from London to Paris and riding jubilantly down the Champs-Elysees just like these heroes, arriving on the Saturday afternoon. The following day you will be back there to watch the professionals do the same at the finale of the 2014 Tour de France.
One of our most-requested items is an individually-adapted tricycle for children and young people who cannot ride a bicycle. Specially made with varied adaptations these can make it possible for a severely disabled child to experience the freedom, independence and fun that cycling can bring and make an enormous difference to their physical developnment, fitness and enjoyment of every day.
Your participation in this amazing event will help us to provide more of these and other vitally needed equipment.
The limited places on this very special trip will sell out extremely fast so please do not delay, call Tom on 01244 335622 for an information pack or find out more here.
