Children Today is delighted to have been chosen as the charity partner for Chester Business Club’s very special 40th Anniversary Ball.

Taking place on Friday 25 September 2026 at The Queen at Chester Hotel, the landmark event will bring together members of Chester’s business community for an evening of celebration, entertainment and fundraising – all while helping to support disabled children and young people across the UK.

Founded in September 1986, Chester Business Club has spent the past four decades bringing businesses and professionals together, building connections and championing the city of Chester and its wider business community.

We’re incredibly proud to be part of this milestone celebration and grateful to Chester Business Club for choosing Children Today as its charity partner.

Celebrating 40 years – and supporting local families

The 40th Anniversary Ball promises to be a fantastic evening, with guests enjoying a fizz reception, three-course dinner, entertainment, a live band and dancing, alongside a charity auction and raffle.

Funds raised during the evening will help Children Today continue to provide life-changing mobility equipment for disabled children and young people, helping them to achieve greater independence and experience opportunities that many of us take for granted.

From specialist buggies and adapted trikes to wheelchairs, powerpacks and supportive seating, the right equipment can make a positive difference to a child and their whole family.

Emma Prescott, Charity Director at Children Today, said:

“We are absolutely delighted to have been chosen as the charity partner for Chester Business Club’s 40th Anniversary Ball. It is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate such an important milestone for Chester’s business community while also making a real difference to disabled children and their families.

“We know how powerful the support of local businesses and their communities can be. Every donation can help us provide essential mobility equipment that gives children greater independence, confidence and the opportunity to take part in everyday family life. We’re incredibly grateful to Chester Business Club for supporting our work and look forward to celebrating with everyone at what promises to be a fantastic evening.”
