Join us at Blue Planet Aquarium for an unforgettable cage-free shark diving experience and help make a real difference to the lives of children and young people with disabilities across the UK.
An experience like no other
Step into an underwater world that few people ever get to experience. Following expert tuition from Blue Planet Aquarium’s professional dive team, you’ll learn the basics of scuba diving before coming face-to-face with some of the ocean’s most awe-inspiring predators.
During your dive, you’ll encounter magnificent 12-foot Sand Tiger Sharks, alongside an incredible variety of marine life including Nurse Sharks, Blacktip Sharks, Arabian Bamboo Sharks, Brown Banded Bamboo Sharks, Southern Stingrays, Blackchin Guitarfish and hundreds of tropical fish.
What’s included when you take on a charity shark dive for Children Today?
- Full dive briefing and expert tuition
- Cage-free shark and ray encounter
- Use of all scuba diving equipment
- Official “I Dived with the Sharks at Blue Planet Aquarium” certificate
- Free admission for two spectators
Participant requirements
- Minimum age: 16 years
- Minimum height: 125cm (4ft 2in)
- No previous diving experience required
All participants must complete a dive medical questionnaire before diving. If your responses indicate that a physician’s approval is required, it is your responsibility to obtain and provide this documentation before the event. Please note that if medical approval is not granted, any applicable refund may be subject to a £25 administration fee.
Fundraising for Children Today
By taking part in this exciting challenge, you’ll be helping Children Today continue our work supporting children and young people with disabilities across the UK. Funds raised help provide life-changing mobility equipment and support that can transform lives, improve independence and create new opportunities for disabled children.
