Bolton Ladies Lunch raises thousands!

Written by Lexi Heselwood on 7th November 2018

More than 150 guests attended our recent special Ladies Lunch in Bolton to raise funds for Children Today, and we’re delighted to announce the event raised over £7,500.

Hosted at the Bolton Whites Hotel, attendees did a spot of Christmas shopping at a pop-up boutique shopping area whilst enjoying a glass of bubbly, followed by a sumptuous lunch courtesy of Heathcotes Catering.

Egyptologist Joyce Tyldesley, fascinated guests with her knowledge about the ancient civilisation, giving an insight into the world of the Ancient Egyptian gods, Pharaohs and hieroglyphics and singer, Dani Wallace, entertained guests with a rich array of 60s, 70s and 80s classics and more!

Regional fundraising manager at Children Today, Elizabeth Oakes, comments: “It was a fantastic afternoon, enjoyed by all, and most importantly we’ve raised a significant sum that will help improve the lives of children with disabilities across the UK. We’d like to say a big thank you to our sponsors, Capstone Financial Management and Windoworld, without whom the event would not have been possible. We would also like to thank all our guests for their generosity in helping us raise these much-needed funds.”

Thank you to everyone that supported and attended our Bolton Ladies Lunch. Here are just some of the pictures from the event:
