One of Chester’s favourite family restaurants, Panda Mami, is celebrating raising over £1,000 for local children’s charity, Children Today Charitable Trust.
The award-winning buffet restaurant, which serves authentic flavours from around the world seven days a week, chose to team up with Children Today to give back to the community by donating 50 pence for every signature ‘Mami Mocktail’ sold at its Chester site on Newgate Street.

Yong Yan, General Manager at Panda Mami, comments:
“We’re thrilled to be able to support such a wonderful charity that does such amazing work. As a business rooted in the community, it was important to us to build a meaningful, long-term partnership with a charity that reflects our values and allows us to give something back. Seeing our customers get behind the initiative has been incredibly rewarding.”
Children Today is a Chester-based charity that supports disabled children and young adults with life-changing equipment, such as adapted trikes, wheelchair adaptations and special needs buggies.
Yong continues:
“As a family-friendly restaurant, welcoming children of all ages every day, we’re honoured to play a small part in helping the children and families supported by Children Today. We’re proud of what we’ve achieved together so far and look forward to continuing our support in the future.”
Emma Prescott, Charity Director at Children Today, adds:
“We are so grateful to everyone at Panda Mami for choosing to support Children Today and for their commitment to making a real difference locally.
“Partnerships like this are vital for us, as every pound raised helps us provide essential equipment that can transform a child’s independence, confidence and quality of life. It’s been wonderful to work with a business that shares our passion for supporting families, both locally and further afield.”
